DESCRIPTION
Maxtreat 3100L is a catalyzed liquid oxygen scavenger. It is a blend of sodium bisulphite and a catalyst agent. It is recommended for the rapid and complete removal of dissolved oxygen from boiler feed water where feed water alkalinity is excess.
Maxtreat 3100 L reacts with oxygen to produce sodium sulphate and also coordinates to
reduce excess alkalinity simultaneously.

· RAPID REACTION
The catalysed Maxtreat 3100L speeds up removal of dissolved oxygen. Oxygen can be removed completely even from cold water due to catalytic action. Normal reaction time is as low as 15 to 30 seconds as against 10 to 30 minutes for uncatalyzed conventional sulphite.
· EASY TO HANDLE
Maxtreat 3100L is a free flowing liquid. It is soluble in water even at lower feed water temperature. It is non-toxic and non-corrosive and, therefore, can be handled easily.
· pH CONTROL
Maxtreat 3100L is also helping in controlling desired pH of boiler water and reduces blowdown.
· COST EFFECTIVE
The catalytic action Maxtreat 3100L reduces the excess requirement of sulphite in feed water for rapid removal of oxygen. Thus the requirement of oxygen scavenger reduces making treatment cost effective.

APPLICATION & DOSAGE:
Maxtreat 3100L solution should be dosed continuously in the boiler feed water line after the deaerator. Dissolve the required quantity of Maxtreat 3100L gently in boiler water in
a separate tank.
About 24 ppm of Maxtreat 3100L is required for the removal of 1 ppm of dissolved oxygen from boiler feed water. About 10% to 20% of product to be dosed in excess to provide oxygen consuming reserve. In case of drop in pH, treatment should be supported with Maxtreat 3006. HANDLING AND SAFETY:
Maxtreat 3100 L should be stored in dry condition. Close the container tightly to avoid contact with air. Normal precautions should be taken while handling the material. In case of contact wash with lot of water. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Do not swallow.
